Meeting Uncle Kit: Eli and Uncle Kit already have one thing in common - red hair. In fact, right after Eli was born and we saw him, I remember saying, "Kasey, I think we had Kit's baby." Although I have no knowledge of Kit every caring for, handling, or even being around a baby, he seemed like a natural when he held Eli. I'm sure there's plenty of trouble these two will be getting into!
The pool saga: Poor Kasey. Not only does he have to contend with a home renovation every day, he also has to worry about the pool. The pool is the only thing we've ever been able to enjoy about this house. I'm sure the neighbors think that we only bought the house to enjoy the pool. Next to becoming a contractor, Kasey has also dabbled in a little bit of chemistry trying to pool the levels just right. JR at Leslie's Pool Service knows him well by now. Well, if any of you have a pool, you know that it's work. We've had the pump run dry all night, green slime on the walls, and now a leak. We thought it was fixed but alas, there appears to be another!
Our pool boy: Despite the pool drama, we got to enjoy the pool a little the other night. Eli made it in as far as his toes but it was too cold. But he got to enjoy the activities poolside lounging in Maddie's lap.
As you can see the only swimming Eli did was in his Nemo diaper - it was huge on him!

Our babysitter: Lily always does such a good job of watching over Eli. No other pet has a chance of getting near him.
Cuddle time: This little angel seems to nap a little better when he's got mommy right next to him. I love to feel his breath on me.
Ready to move: Mister, our cat, looks like he's not the only one ready to move to the new house. Little does he know that he will be an outside cat when we get there.
Oh my goodness, Eli is already getting so big! Love the picture of you both napping. Oh, and of Kasey's head in the huge hole by the pool!! :)
