Oh dear, what have we gotten ourselves into?

I now know why there is an entire channel devoted to home design. Thank you HGTV for attempting to prepare me for the adventures in home remodeling. But truthfully, nothing can prepare you for it. So many decisions to be made and if you know Kasey, decision making is not he forte. Researching, however, is. Bless the heart of the man who can spend hours (no exaggeration!) on the computer researching asbestos removal, different types of installation including insulation made from old denim jeans, kitchen cabinets, electrical rewiring, etc, etc, etc, etc. I have the luxury, or possibly apathy, to just say, "ok," "sounds good," "looks good to me." We are what you might call, opposites. I guess that's why I'm so attracted to him, hehe.

We are now getting down to crunch time and still need to pick out kitchen backsplash, bathroom tile, light fixtures, sinks, bathtub, and paint. As you can see from the pictures, the house is down to its guts and we need to keep Mr. Contractor busy before he finds another house to tear apart. Wish us luck. Wish us good fortune too cuz this project don't run cheap!!
