Although Eli and I are not on "speaking terms," he has a way of letting his emotions show. BTW, I don't know why this is being underlined. I've gotten fairly adept at interpretting them but there are always new ones emerging.

Wait until you get the first courtesy smile. You'll be like "oh my gosh, my child thinks I'm so pathetic that he just fake smiled at me."
