Eli is 9 months old and getting into everything! We have been through "teething" but no tooth is actually visible to the untrained eye.
We have entered into some sort of separation anxiety as well. Although he is millimeters away from me, he cries and cries until I pick him up.
We went from happily playing with his toys one week to ...
To this!
All I did was put him down. To get the camera. To document this moment where my child wants nothing more than to be held by his dear mother. So that I can remind him of how much he loved me when he reaches his teen years and wants nothing to do with me.

Eli is a LOT more active these days which makes changing his clothes and diapers more challenging. Before I know it, he's off and away, naked and all. But who doesn't smile when they see a cute little baby bootie? In March, the Doggetts headed out west to visit Uncle Kit and Aunt Shelly. Here is Eli in China town where he ran into some monkey friends of his.

Meet the new "Retired Billy." Now that he is a free man, my dad has found a new zest for life. I mean, just look. Here is "getting down" with The Original Soul Invaders! I don't know who put on more of a show, the all black soul/gospel band from Industry, Tx OR my dear old dad who somehow avoided reinjuring his back by droppin' it low, low, low.
What the???
Happy Easter!
